That night in the theater II Part

This post is available in: es

Hello girls!

From the same stage where I wrote to you last week, today I bring you the second dress that I used in the concert of the release of my husband’s new album, at the National Theater. On this occasion I wear the design of Donato, a Costa Rican designer whom I admire very much.

With the name Nuevos Cielos and Nueva Tierra, Donato exhibited this piece as part of his last collection in the past Mercedes Benz Fashion Week of San José 2018. The designs include prints of angels, celestial and floral bodies, where he proposes to link the spiritual part of the earthly, where our purposes of conservation of the environment join our spiritual side.

“My inspiration was my spiritual part and the connection we must have with the heavenly part and our purpose here on earth.”

I met Donato in person until the day we tried the dresses, but we clicked immediately. It was enough to see me to decide what my dress and accessories would be, and we definitely agreed. It’s a piece that characterizes my style, it was love at first sight and I said that’s me! It is super feminine and classic.

I could define it as romantic and elegant, as well as the Theater. Long to the floor, with long sleeves and round neck. A belt with copper metallic buckle marks and defines the waist, and the velvet fabric has a floral pattern in super warm colors. The ideal complement was a single earring with a cross design from the same collection, a Murano crystal ring and the highest red heels!

For this attire I thought that the hair should be picked up on the side, to expose the earring. To do this in Anka they made me a braid on the side and the rest loose waves, with a makeup with red lips as protagonists.

Having been able to wear this dress in this scenario made me feel at another time, in another context. It seems unreal when I see them, as if Donato had known before designing the dress that was going to be used in that special space, on that red carpet and with those golden details on the walls. For me it was a super important night, and having felt this beautiful made it even more special.
